As the creative masterminds behind the SXSW-based campaign, Blue Clover tactics include sponsoring the Social Media Clubhouse, offering free breakfast tacos in wrappers with QR codes linking to a micro-site, and big-screen monitors scrolling aggregated content gathered by FeedMagnet. While the Citrix campaign is designed to be hip and fun, Sena explains there is a method to the madness.
By harvesting the real-time data throughout the campaign, Blue Clover is able to monitor QR code scans and mobile clicks, and location-based service check-ins at events. The agency then will analyze the metrics to learn more about which devices are most popular and how they are being used — findings potentially useful for future client work. The SXSW-types of experiences are evolving, explains Sena, synergizing technology and experience resulting in strong brand impact.
